At the end of June the number of unbundled lines stands at 9.12 million.
There are 6.18 million WLR lines and the number of telephone numbers using CPS is 2.10 million.

SLG (Service Level Guarantee) for Appointed Orders – OTA2 Task updates
In support of the new SLG scheme which has recently been introduced for Appointed Orders, OTA2 continue to press ahead with the ‘The OTA2 Tasks’ programme of work. Good progress has been made across all the current tasks and we will report more fully on progress in our next longer update at the end of July. We are working with Openreach and Industry to identify the next set of key activity areas.
Following concerns raised by Openreach, a lot of time has been spent on reviewing Early Life Failure (ELF) concerns around MPF. The work has now concluded that both MPF and WLR are running at a similar level but with a deterioration over the last twelve months. We have turned our attention to possible root causes and have started to engage with CP’s and Openreach through workshops. Early indications using a breakdown of order type shows that performance is worse for ‘Start of stop’ order type.
Openreach are examining their pre-provision test process to assess possible impacts and the Test and Diagnostic forum are reviewing effectiveness of overall testing strategies.
Next steps are to pull together Openreach and CP data/inputs and fully implement improvement plan.
1. Copper – By mid-June, the national average lead time for appointed copper provides had been reduced to approx. 8 working days with performance better than SLA (i.e. 13 working days) in ALL Regional patches.
For LLU and WLR Repair, the ‘right first time’ performance for all care levels continues to track an improving trend although LLU and WLR Repair still remain some way short of industry’s expectations

2. Plan & Build – Delivery performance continues to improve with CDD performance (i.e. on time delivery) now consistently above 90%.
3. Ethernet – Openreach are reporting that they believe there is an improvement in the service levels being delivered to the CPs, the CP response is less positive believing that, as yet, they have not seen any improvement in the service levels or the recovery of the backlog. We await the next series of provision stats to see if the position has improved.
There has been no change in the status of the EST programme - it remains suspended and the CPs are waiting to see what the proposals for remedy look like and to review how they can support them.
