The OTA2 team

David Halliday

David has held a number of senior management positions in telecoms companies nationally and internationally. Prior to joining the OTA2 in 2009, he worked within Pipex and Tiscali where he developed an Industry wide knowledge of LLU and WLR. David is the lead of the OTA2 team.

Mark Dalziel

Mark has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining OTA2 in 2007 he held senior roles in Marconi and KCOM. Mark had a background in Network Design, Build and Operation. Within the OTA2 Team Mark takes responsibility for Passive Networks and High Bandwidth Business Products.

Peter Ryde

Prior to joining the team in 2007, Peter was Director, Wholesale Services at NTL between 1999 and 2006. He was responsible for managing all Sales, Service and Product activity with other Carriers, ISPs and Systems Integrators. Peter also managed the interconnect team within NTL. Since 2007, Peter has supported the interests of Business CPs within OTA2 and has led the contractual negotiations for service level agreements and guarantees.

John Abbotts

John (Jack) has over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, working with both BT and Openreach before joining OTA2 in 2019. Jack’s background is both at an operational level as well as holding a senior role in process and solution design, developing an extensive knowledge of Provision, Repair and Customer Switching. Within the OTA2 team Jack has responsibility for Number Porting and Customer Switching.
